Reading today’s strip, I put Gabby Hayes’ voice to B.O.’s words.

Good morning all. Margueritem, the “cutey” is actually Jewel, Sparkle and Junior’s daughter.

B.O. Plenty – man of action!!!

B.O. was fending off the scary baby with his left hand in panel 1, and the kid is trying to climb his back in panel 2.But Tracy’s implied idea may be correct: confronting her whole family, including the one real Gertie, may help jog Sparkle-Gertie’s memory (though I still think a little lunar-powered push from Honeymoon would be a nice helping touch). We shall see….

If B.O. hand had reached from panel 3 to panel 3 it would have been funnier, but in addition to the family confrontation that is coming, what will the Wheaton’s say/do over this whole situation?

I hope Sparkle seeing her folks causes her memory to return.

The Plenty Family to the rescue! Can’t wait to see what Sparkle/Gertie’s reaction to her little brother will be! LOL!

Tracy is hugging B.O. Now Tracy has to bathe and change his clothes before they go because B.O. hasn’t bathed in 70 years.

Voluntarily, no, but B.O. has had a few involuntary baths over the years.

I don’t know about this. How eager would you be to admit you were the child of B.O. and Gertie? And that little Attitude was your brother?(Me, I’d stick with amnesia and go milk a cow.)

NS, I was thinking the same thing. Wait ’till Wheaton sees this zoo all show up at his farm! Just the sight of them will make him call up Hy Pressure and tell him to forget the sniping; get those papers over here right now!

Love this comic strip. Reminds me of the “Funny Pages” cliff hangers of old. I was born the same year as Sparkle, nic to see the old crew back

I think the sight of Li’l Attitude will be a greater shock to her system than the zap by Moon Maid.

Rightwingmoron has a point. The farmer, George Wheaton, appeared in 1943 LONG before Star Trek was even an idea in the mind of Gene Roddenberry.

Is that little girl Sparkle Plenty Tracy, Jr who was born in 1988? She was immediately kidnapped along with some other babies by Janice Trohs and her husband as part of a adoption ring but of course was rescued by Tracy. Also, whatever happened to Joe Tracy, Dick’s biological son?

Wondering when the two Mrs. Tracy’s are going to square off? I expect when Sparkle’s memory comes back, she’s going to remember her recent close encounter of the third kind.And for the record, tsull, yes, I’m well aware and am not calling into question whether Mysta is legally married to Junior. She is not. It’s just that in her mind, she’s still Mrs. Tracy. And yes, I know she may or may not be the real Mysta. Either way, the point is that she thinks she is.

Day late and a dollar short: Dick Tracy is showing the emotion I would have expected from Junior, yesterday….Same with Bob Oscar….What’s with Junior?
