Pauly is going to “recruit” (kidnap) Crystal. No big surprise, I suppose. Polar says the plan is simple. but I’m a little confused as to what happens after that.

Abduction is the key. Pauly may be a spellbinder. A psychopath who is so adroit in speaking can charm the birds out of the trees so that the snakes can eat them. Persuader of the most extra ordinary sort.

But how will Pauly match up against Crystal AUSTIN?

Joke’s on Polar, Tomorrow is Saturday! My guess is the recruiting isn’t going to be kidnapping, but something simple like “Could you take this package into the principal? I can’t leave the truck.”

Ah, he’s to recruit Crystal Bribery, right? But in her most recent appearance, she said she had a new last name, presumably Austin. Will that confuse Pauly, perhaps? I may be wrong, of course, but methinks the name change she so proudly proclaimed so recently may play into this arc….

I wouldn’t be too sure of that; I remember Crystal’s first appearance, showing Bribery her “skills” on a slingshot.

Has anyone here previously mentioned that P.K. Palmer was the producer of the old Dick Tracy TV show?

Maybe Crystal Bribery is no match, but Honeymoon Tracy?? and the pair together!!!!!!

Inappropriate use of an ice cream truck in a school yard, there’s a penalty on the play, 10 years in jail, no first down!

Have we seen PV’s pipe before? I wouldn’t expect a guy obsessed with cold temperatures to be a fan of inhaling hot smoke. Given current controversy over their use by school kids, it might have made more sense to give him a vape pen.

Crystal “Bribery” Austin might be no match for Pauly, but the rest of the Junior Crimestoppers (Honeymoon, Astor, and maybe Annie Warbucks) can take down anyone without even trying!

Pauly has no record, That’s the only significant take-away I get from this strip. The rest is all bluster from Piotr, with supporting chorus from Devil. His Nefarious Plot seems simple, obvious, and unlikely to succeed—though I suppose also that the strip’s plot requires it to succeed in the short run in order to get the MCU involved, and maybe Mr. Bribery, too, not to mention Lafayette Austin….

Ice cream. Such a gateway drug.
