Well, he didn’t heed Bill’s advice to “make it last this time,” as you might have suspected. He, apparently, was back again the next day (“yesterday”) to resupply from “the new guy” (Ty).
MCU is now certain that Ty is in the works, something that Sam was sure of all along. I can’t wait to see what is in store next time Aquarius opens the vault. Will there now be a search warrant for 1312 Bedwell ? I can’t wait to meet Peggy and the look of shock when she finds out what is really going on in that place.
Well, as some of you have already noted, Pouch is now front-and-center. I don’t know about anyone else, but I was hoping for more than just a story about looking for druggies in a hippy mansion.
Stanky provides a good reason why evidence is important. Pouch told Bill to get out of the park because he doesn’t want police around interfering with his business. No reason to think drugs at all. We must assume Bill reported that at the commune or there would have been no reason to Ty to offer any warning. But Stanky has turned, “Pouch doesn’t want police attention in the park,” to “Pouch is selling dope.”
Little curious how the police got the picture of Ty. Of course Sam isn’t expected to recognize the face of everyone in the police database, but is that the only thing Ty ever wears on his head? And did the police take a mug shot with Ty wearing it at whatever point in the past the picture was taken?
“Fact gathering” pays off in real life, Not In a comic strip that has time restrains and has a track record of being too middle heavy and too weak at the end.
Thelast week or so has been a refreshing look at the way real police work operates. Boring to us maybe, but still nice to see. Also, why didn’t somebody simply bust the balloon OPEN for crying out loud!
It looks as if Pouch might :go swimming" like Dollar Bill did after getting beat to a pulp by his “blue balloon” client for the info necessary to get rid of Aquarius & Company and retrieve the blue balloon…
Bingo! There it is—the connection to not only Ty but also and more importantly, “the balloon man,” whom Tracy will immediately know is Pouch! We’re on the verge of cracking this case wide open on the intelligence front. Then, it will be time to mop up on the ground (and, in Tiger Lilly’s case, underground)….

For a junkie, I must say that Mr. Stankelli is very cooperative. Especially since he at first tried to get a deal which he didn’t get.

Looks like that just might be next up.

Nice silhouette, Tracy.

Pouch can cover for Tiger by playing ignorant, and point Tracy to Aquarius and Ty. Has anybody even seen Pouch with Tiger?

Everyone thinks all I do is complain(not true) but I was certainly right last week when I feared we were in for a lot more “Information hunting”.

1-STANKWELL: My finger smells funny. Wanna smell?
2-DT: No. Let’s get back to finding your real father. STANKWELL: Fine. This guy has chin whiskers kind of like mine…
3-…but this one has a certain je ne sais quoi that I think I too exhibit. I’m going with him.
DT: Well, that’s settled. Good choice. You can see him right away. He’s at the morgue.
STANKWELL: DAD’S DEAD? Dag. Wait. I choose the other guy then. Is he alive?
DT: He is. At least he is until Sam finds him. BWAA HAA HAAAAA!
STANKWELL: Can I have the scarf my other dad is wearing in the picture? DT: No. That’s morgue property.

Maybe it’s just me, but today’s strip gives me a feeling of deja vu, like I might have seen it before.
Does anyone else think the dialogue is familiar?
