Londo Mollari, Centauri ambassador to Babylon 5, was at a loss for words. He asked his research staff what those Earth animals were that had feathers, webbed feet and quacked. Vir Cotto, his assistant, thought for a moment and replied “Cats”. Londo then used the word “cats” in his sentence.
In context, Adam only named the animals in the Garden, not all animals everywhere, so I doubt he ever encountered (much less named) pandas, koalas, etc.
