If you can roll the window down, you can roll the window up. Just use the same button. For the sake of the joke, my guess is that neither of these two kids is going to be smart enough to know that. On the other hand, if MIke’s hands are on the car buttons, then they won’t be on Rhetta. His dream is ruined.

buttons to roll up windows? Next you’re going to try to convince me that the car radio doesn’t come with an 8 track player. I think technology has moved a long way from the last vehicle I owned and drove. (newest vehicle i ever owned was a ’84 Ford Fairlane.

How did they manage to lower the windows in the first place?

In every vehicle I’ve ever seen, the driver has a set of controls for every electric window… but apparently, this is Kanada Korporation’s “Moosey” Sport Coup we’re talking about here..

I struggled for a bit with my new truck since tech has significantly progressed since the last time I bought a vehicle. A lot can change over twenty years :D

I remember when we bought our ‘85 Thunderbird. It had a sunroof with 3 settings: closed, tilted open, and recessed open. We bought the car on my birthday & were heading to a restaurant for my birthday dinner. It was raining. We were looking at all of the gadgets & gizmos the car had, and my husband found the sunroof recessed button…but we couldn’t get it back closed! The button had to be pressed a certain way to close it as opposed to just “open & shut” buttons.

Mike is going to be in DEEP water with his dad when he gets home!!

LOL… the Attendant forgot to tell Mike: “Windows UP”. He better not get water in the car with all those electronics. Oh, Boy… Dad !!

I used to work at a car wash, and the number of people who would pull up to the starting area and get their car into position, THEN LEAVE THEIR WINDOWS down was shocking.

Windows cars with electric windows don’t roll up. They don’t go up when the key is turned off.

I see a flooded car and a good grounding in Michael’s future…

To quote Bully Maguire, “You should have thought of that earlier.”

The owner manual for my car has a warning: If the floor wet, it could cause a malfunction that could cause the airbags to be deployed.

In the last panel, Rhetta’s question is phrased very oddly.

Better look for the button that says PANIC , Mike.

My guess is, this is merely a comic strip and not to be analyzed. Just enjoy the journey
