Christmas shopping is the best

Interesting. Elly’s brother’s name is Phil, but she also has an Uncle Phil. We hardly hear about her Uncle Phil but he warrants a Christmas present but yet she doesn’t mention buying a present for her brother.

It’s fun to shop when you don’t NEED anything. We’ve ordered gifts on Amazon, so we’re DONE….but then it’s fun to go out into the stores just looking. We always find more stuff, but at least it’s not stressful that way and we can enjoy the holiday atmosphere.

She didn’t mention Elizabeth’s name. I hope Ellie got her something while Elizabeth was off somewhere with April.

I worked retail for 40+ years, trust me it takes the joy right out of it.

Do people’s feet actually hurt when used a lot? After a bunch of miles my legs get a bit wobbly but I never felt any complaints from my feet, and I don’t recall anybody I was with complaining about their feet.

“the courier”? Huh?

what is the difference between “the postman” and “the courier”? They really use a courier service so much that it warrants a gift for that person? Also, now no one needs to go to the mall, it’s all online, no fuss, do it when you feel like it in your PJs and slippers or whatever.

I’ve been especially grateful for Amazon this year. Even though I’m supporting a robber baron’s obscene avarice (and I do feel guilty about this), it’s SOOO much more civilized than showing up at a mall, dealing with the traffic and the parking and the crowds and the stuffiness, wandering around from store to store hoping to find something that just so happens to feel like an appropriate gift for someone in particular, further hoping that they’ve got the right size, color etc in stock, dragging around increasingly heavy shopping bags—I don’t miss it.

There’s probablya bunch of people out there who think Schwarzenegger’s JINGLE ALL THE WAY was a lousy movie.

But at least half of the stuff in that film has probably happened to you at once time or another

If you’re giving a gift to the Courier, you should also get one for Ives.

Amazon is a shoe saver…not to mention the feet.

Putting all before you is the best gesture during Christmas. But you need to take care of yourself first, Elly.

For our trash guy do not good, the guy sits in driver’s chair as he rarely gets out of the truck to pick up trash, the company with each trash truck as a pickup arm. so he not see any Christmas gift to him on top of the trash lid. Elly you go through too much work.
