This comic strip is making me dizzy and apparently Elly too. While John in the final panel is looking at a departing Mike, Elly is looking up and left like she is still in the third panel.

It still does—don’t forget, he sleeps all day.

I wonder what’s in the envelope. An application for an out-of-town job for next year?

i don’t think they remember the early days of the strip when mike was constantly bouncing off the walls.

Funny, as I was reading along, I was thinking of my kids & quite the opposite punchline.

It looks like Michael has finished his story.

Dormancy is just waiting for its chance.

It might be a ‘rough draft’ for his story on his friend and he wants to get his approval ! ! !

I’ll bet that energy wasn’t dormant when he was two years old.

Michael, lose the beard

In the late ’80s, we had a 48K TRS-80 from Radio Shack on St. Croix, USVI. When teens would gather to party on our large property, with a 30K gallon pool, plenty of outside shade, many trees, good music, and speakers, they would wait in line to use the Computer. the nearby private school had a room with computers donated by businesses. My wife would open up the GHS library before 7:00, and the students were ready to use every different brand. It is hard to hold kids back!

Well, he came from college just the other day

So much like a man I just had to say

“Son, I’m proud of you, can you sit for a while?”

He shook his head and he said with a smile

“What I’d really like, Dad, is to borrow the car keys

See you later, can I have them please?"
