Bible verse: “if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you”
Reminds me of Jean Kerr (the humorist who wrote Please Don’t Eat the Daisies). She said her immigrant mother had never seen corn on the cobb so she boiled them for hours until the cobbs were tender.
Andy would now be a YouTuber with a huge following promoting some cuckoo diet. Then when her health takes a downturn because of said diet she still keeps up the charade because she has vested interest. Then when the game is finally up she says sorry but does nothing to compensate her followers after ruining their health with her advice. Me venting? Nah.
This is where Roger should tell Andy to keep her “health food” ideas to herself and eat—-and let his kids eat—-normal food, or at least some of the time.

Instead of mustard, how about a little mayo and seasoning salt?

Corn on the cob does not belong in a bun!

At least with her other meals, Andy has a smidge of knowledge and common sense for why she makes them.
Here, she’s just completely stupid.

Um, Andy? If you don’t soak corn in lime (the mineral, not the fruit), most of its nutrients are unavailable to humans.

I’ve seen people who butter a slice of bread, then fold it around the corn to butter it, the they eat the bread with their meal.

The scene in WarGames:
Dad: This corn is raw!
Mom: I know. Isn’t it wonderful? It’s so crisp!
Dad: Of course it’s crisp. But it’s raw!!
Mom: No, it’s terrific. You can just taste the Vitamin A & D in here. It’s great.
Dad: Could we have pills, and cook the corn?
