I guess, much like cartoon hands that (supposedly) look better with only 3 fingers instead of 4, cartoon spiders (supposedly) look better with only 6 legs instead of 8 … ?
I don’t see how that’s going to help; according to the police report, the offending spider frightened her away, but never spoke a word. And nothing was said about the spider actually stealing her curds and whey. Sounds like false arrest to me.
