    No matter how thin you slice it, it’s still baloney.

    Sure, it’s a vacant premise, but the listing says it’s charming and has a great location.

    They DON’T know that purring=contentment. The reason cats purr is a bit of a mystery. A dying cat will purr. And they only do it as a response to humans. I think it means “You’re my friend.”

    Anyway:

    “I don’t want to go among mad people,’ Alice remarked.

    `Oh, you can’t help that,’ said the Cat: `we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.’

    `How do you know I’m mad?’ said Alice.

    `You must be,’ said the Cat, `or you wouldn’t have come here.’

    Alice didn’t think that proved it at all; however, she went on `And how do you know that you’re mad?’

    `To begin with,’ said the Cat, `a dog’s not mad. You grant that?’

    `I suppose so,’ said Alice.

    `Well, then,’ the Cat went on, `you see, a dog growls when it’s angry, and wags its tail when it’s pleased. Now I growl when I’m pleased, and wag my tail when I’m angry. Therefore I’m mad.’

    `I call it purring, not growling,’ said Alice.

    `Call it what you like,’ said the Cat.

    Hooey is hooey. Unfortunately, much of it is learned as a kid listening to the adults talking around Thanksgiving dinne…

    This sounds like one of those logic problems you have to solve in order to get a decent IQ score:

    purring:contentment::wagging:_________ OR purring:cats::wagging:________

    This kid has just taken a meta-analytical view of the 2 propositions.

    I tried to refrain from getting technical on this, however….A dog’s tail wag can be a sign of it being aggressive state as well. Especially if it is held erect during the wag.
