Don’t ask me why. But, I keep thinking “The three Musketeers” for some reason. I think it just means I need another cup of coffee……..

I am sitting eating my home made donuts and drinking coffee. I am the first one in the office and as my co-workers come in one by one I am going to try and not devolve into Garfield.

All those big eyes, I’d fold my ears back, too.

Mondays are the worst for me as well…

They should at least let him have four coffees before he has to deal with them

There are some creatures that should not live with others. Garfield’s one of ’em.

The presence of Nermal makes it much worse.

Garf! It’s Labor Day! One of the very few tolerable…. make that excellent Monday’s of the year! Great Day to do Nothing! But aren’t they all?

Binky the Clown would make it four times worse if he showed up.

But this Monday is a Holiday!

He might resent the presence of Odie and Nermal, but he surely realizes that it’s Jon who provides his food.

Garfield once said it best back in 1978, “Labor Day, Shmabor day/What a dumb day/To hire some jerk, then send him away/To celebrate work, by playing all day”.

Hope that coffee is extra strong.

I like the simplicity of this one yet it gives off the impression of some of the older strips. 9/10 – I was very pleased with this one
