Does this count as Garfield’s usual Friday date with Arlene? Perhaps it was his date but he turned up late and that’s why she’s annoyed.

What did you do this time Garfield? Show up late for your date because you had a date with a pepperoni pizza? And now you have pepperoni breath?

How do you tell someone you’re not speaking to them, when you’re not speaking to them

The last panel should just be Garfield with a speech bubble apposed to thought bubble and he should just say “meeeeooooowwww” implying she is catty.
