It would help to have some idea of how Aaron’s performance falls off. Basketball is loaded with players who usually score six points a game and every so often score 20. It doesn’t warrant an investigation. Imagine if Gil did this in baseball season: “Most of the time Bill is a .250 hitter. Then every two weeks or so, he goes four for four. I’d better visit his parents and find out what’s going on.”

Um, don’t intrude? He’s your player and you need to always know what’s going on in your players when they just don’t put out the effort on the court.

Everybody seems to be having a blast in P1 except the yawning girl with the, ahem, pearl necklace. She may have been the most fun of all.

Now it looks like Woodstock from Peanuts is horning in on Sign Man’s turf in P2. He will not be pleased.

While Aaron is selfishly out every Friday evening through Sunday morning, stinking up the dance floor, by refusing to bond in the team shower, The Actuary sits at home, pensive and anxious, staring at the magnum of wine she picked as a new member gift from Mrs. Lark’s Club. OK, we all surmised way back in December that Aaron’s poor performance was due to lack of sleep from pre-game raves. They even showed him falling asleep in class. There’s no way this can be it.

bout time. My next door neighbor when I was a kid 40 years ago became a teacher/coach in a small HS. If one of his players was doing what this kid is doing he would have been checking up on his home life when the other kids first came to him.

“I do want to intrude. The boys brought this to my attention weeks ago and it’s playdowns time. I’m here with my wife and her ant-infested towel that came from our showers and this guy who looks like our pool boy is at the table looking over here. Speaking of showers, Kaz said he’d be about 30 minutes behind me…and did I just say behind me??”.

So, Milford plays its games after the weekend. Anybody have clue what State schedules Varsity Boys Basketball for Mondays? I think most of us would have been marginal on Mondays. In the late Pleistocene Age we had Sock Hops after the Friday night games in Michigan

Looking back at Kaz in panel one yesterday his tie above his arms looks like the Playboy Bunny.

No wonder Mrs. Aa lost her good paying job. You can’t be out attending raves and taking molly all weekend and then be productive in the office on Monday morning.
