P2: After reading this strip back to its beginning, didn’t know this about Gil. Do know that he grew up on a farm and remember in one episode, went back to visit his mother.

After Gil does some mansplaining Tays finally sees the light and is cured of his aggressive behavior in just 3 panels. Where was the Grat Communicator, COTY and former state champion coach when Chance Macy was going blowtop mad?

Who is this guy? Is he not going anywhere for awhile and feels the need for a candy bar? Totally unaware Mimi had her own sign at venerable Milford stadium.

In the new writer’s first week we have already gotten both sports and teen angst. Not bad!

Boy Howdy, the “stadium” in panel 1 background looks big enough to support Division 1 Football. Then again, some big HS football stadiums in Texas and Oklahoma are big enough to be home to any Division 1 team(Except U of M-that one can seat 101,000)
