If you are going to a dentist with a spit sink then he is either very very old or he is putting any profits up his nose.

One time, before some major dental work, the assistant asked, “What would you like to listen to?” I suggested the screaming soundtrack from monster movies, to save me the trouble.

The patient is all set for the drill—can’t yell with the mouth full of tools & fingers so I just white knuckle it.

Preemptive screaming.

But what you already did still hurts.

Is it safe?

Remind yourself it is only pain whenever you come to.
