Yes Dear……

Back in the day when I subscribed to a “paper” newspaper, my wife would wait for me to open it up to start talking to me.

I no longer read “hard copy” news. First of all, I don’t have time to read the paper before I go to work, the news is old by today’s standards and I don’t have the ability to say, “let me get another newspaper and see how they covered this story.”

Also, the paper keeps raising its rates.

I got spoiled. I grew up in New York City. Everywhere else I’ve lived has been a one-paper town.

Lady with a beard?!? Definitely a good reason to leave for work really early, like on the honeymoon.

He wondered if (and when?) she would notice that he wasn’t even there.
