The worse is always worse than you think it will be.

Seems like a lot of divorces these days are due to “this worse” being perceived as much worse than it is. Although I know there are some that really are beyond the pale.

She’ll be serving the wurst soon.

Invariably, things get worse over the years. We need to try to deal with this reality as best we can. What else is there to do?

Looks to me they could not do better.

That’s something they can both agree on.
