John, for some strange reason, this reminds me of an old audio recording of a send-up of Soap opera. Only two words used in the whole skit! “John, Marsha” by Stan Freberg 1951. Hope you find and enjoy.
A long time ago when living in San Francisco we took friends visiting from the Midwest to North Beach for dinner one evening. They were amazed and their palates delighted. They said that “This certainly is not The Olive Garden.” The Mrs replied, “Thank god, and Angelo, (the chef) for that.”

Be careful. I hear that those gardens are the pits and contain a lot of seedy types. I’d think that you would prefer a more red-blooded place to go.

It’s a bitter-sweet experience……Money doesn’t guarantee happiness, however, the next stop, you get unlimited amounts of salad and rolls!

I get no kick from champagne,
Mere alcohol doesn’t thrill me at all,
So tell me why should it be true,
That I get a kick out of eating you.

And somehow no matter how much you eat, once Entitlement Hunger settles into your gut, you are never satisfied, you always want more.

Herbivores have the best tasting meat. Next time, make sure those rich and privileged are vegetarians before chowing down.

Yeah – at least with Olive Garden, you don’t have to wait for the “after” to get the awful taste………
