Like…. “Lu-ill”… or “Qu-ann”…. – To be honest, Lu, some terms may seem “not right” to you, but- you are what you are. In this case, a couple. Still trying to figure out what a “couple of” you are, though. Heh, heh, maybe a couple of nuts!!…… – I guess it does seem these days like people have to try to come up with some “innovative” new name for being together, either to try to please people, or because people think everything is too “old fashioned”, or because things get too “watered down”….

Puddles has more sense then either human.

That’s been our approach, too. The key for us was to find something that meant something to us, personally. I guess another key for us was if it sounds like something “Meatloaf” would sing in a song, then it wasn’t the right one…

Brad has grown up and is on the threshold of manhood with Toni. Luann is almost there, but who knows what curveballs fate (aka Greg) might throw at her? I would like to see her together with Quill at the end; he seems a genuinely good person. That said, when these characters move out of the teenage years into adulthood, how does one carry a strip forward without it’s becoming Blondie or Mary Worth? What does one do? A total reboot, à la “For Better or For Worse”? End the strip? Only time will tell. The only guarantee is that I’ll be on board until the strip ends, or I do.

the “long lasting strips” that are “time progressive” usually are either multi faceted that do not rely solely in one type (Happy Days first 2 seasons was essentially different than last 2 seasons) or if they are basically sole faceted, it is one that can encompass the whole cast, thus the premise of Married with children and Cosby show stayed basically same from season 1 till the last one, and both of them would have felt off if same writers tried to do the style of the other show …………….. technically it is possible to continue multi faceted Luann by having a 24 years old Brad, 21 years old Luann and having a bigger role in the strip for growing up 11 years old Shannon and her yet to know friends, they could have even an Aunt of Luann and her kids move to Pittsville and 1 or 2 of them same age as Shannon
