I forget… how did Tiffany get into this job at a preschool anyway?

Couldn’t the kid at least find the trash can?

More like, “Clean-up in aisle Tiffany”!

Okay. the great mystery (TV, vending machine) was just a plot device to get Bern and Piro to kiss – and there was nothing. And now, the double date with Jack, Nil, Bern, and Luann all appears to be another plot device – this time for Luann to exact revenge on Tiffany. // Not that Tiffany is a sympathetic character here. // But the bottom line seems to be, everything that happens seems to have one effect, and that is to continue the relationship between Tiffany, Bernice, and Luann, which they have had since junior high (showing my age).

I mean, we have abruptly shifted from Bernice possibly “learning” (how to date) from Luann – after having abruptly dropping the mystery. And now, we have abruptly dropped Bernice and Nil and are now back to Luann vs. Tiffany.

Greg has allowed his characters to “age” – though the situations he has placed them in, one, the main protagonists haven’t changed (Luann, Tiffany, and Bernice), and two, nothing’s really changed between them.

Several commentators yesterday mentioned that Tiffany could be an interesting character if we were to delve into her past, especially the neglectful father who apparently made her into the twisted person she is.

I hope one of the kids kicks her and make her fall face first into the puddle

Will Tiffany clean it, or pay for an outside maid service? It’s a toss-up.

A suggestion for Greg: Yes, Luann needs a nemesis, but she needs a “new” nemesis – someone we don’t already know. Someone who isn’t as predictable as Tiffany or Bernice. Perhaps someone who might unite Luann, Bernice, and Tiffany. You know, the old common enemy routine.

Cleaning up puke. That should humble her although really humility is an effect and not a cause.

Tiffany just repeated what she said yesterday and the kid just brought up lunch again.

Wayyyyymint….waaaaymint….waaaay-a-minit! Did Tiffany just “copy and paste” her comment from yesterday? As an actress, she knows she could’ve ‘switched it up’, a bit! I tell you, she’s just phoning it in, today!

Then again, I feel bad for her. She’s not wearing her ‘non slip’ heels, today. Hopefully she watches where she mops! Maybe they can lay some glitter down, first. Unless there’s already some glitter there, which could’ve been the reason why the kid didn’t feel so well…

Speaking of glitter, I feel bad for Luann. She might end up getting some of the decorations in her wrap, and get a bunch of ‘itching sensations’. And poor Frank will not be glad to see more ‘glitter and dust’ fill the air, like the last time, from the one panel in the strip a couple of years back…..

Tiff’s outfit doesn’t seem very practical for looking over a bunch of kids, but then again, when is tiff ever practical.

Lu is owning Tiff again. Wonder if this change is permanent.

“Revolt, peasants”, er, Tiffany. This tyrant, Greg, has an eraser on his pencil. He draws it – he makes it go away. Besides, the logo on Luann’s shirt says it all – kids 1st. Okay, fat kid, you’re 1st to clean it up.

That’s a common thing that happens to kids. Luann must have had to clean it up before. Tiffany can probably refuse to do it – but that makes her look like a stuck up little #%^!* and I think she’s aware of it.

Luann could bring Puddles in to clean it up.

For crying out loud, Tiffany, just quit this job and go find one you like.

Okay, others may congratulate differently, but i am going to congratulate 31768 for being the person who i think came closest to getting today’s strip right. Congrats, 31768!

The reason for my choice: although Dog suggested cast decoration that was a reply which built on 31768’s comment about Luann becoming the center of attention with Tiffany hating it. Also, all of the notes about Tiffany hating it to the point of wanting to quit when kids get sick appeared to relate specifically to past strips when that occurred rather than being suggestions for what might happen today.

So, congratulations to many, but specifically to Dog and 31768, with 31768 getting the most from me today.

A thought:

It is too bad for Tiffany that they are not drawn as an advanced group of dinosaurs. Birds are the only remaining remnants of dinosaurs, and having a cloaca rather than two distinct waste systems they basically have poor deposit control and just let it fly wherever.

So, i figure that any advanced dinosaurian society would, by necessity, be one centered around master plumbers (and also would have developed velcro earlier than we did). So, the school room, indeed ANY room, would contain handy deposit receptacles (thunder mugs), floor drains, and readily accessible ways to hose down any area. Therefore, if Tiff was dinosaurian this would be an easier problem for her.

Why velcro you ask? For pants seats, of course! No Navy buttons for dinosaurs!

I like Tiffany’s shoes.

Luann may be hurt, but she’s enjoying running Tiffany’s motor.

“BLARF!”, eh? The ’80’s term was ‘yawning in technicolor’. Given the skinny, yet colorful Panel 2, I wonder if that kid ate a bunch of crayons. :p

Oh, Miss Tiffany, you have some barf to clean up!

Tiffany had better hope that seeing someone barf doesn’t make all the other kids barf as well.

Eww. I am in solidarity with Tiffany. I don’t “do” kiddie-vomit. There are professional janitors for that! Or Miss Luann can off her royal backside and start earning her pay, broken foot or no!
