Makes me wonder… why ain’t there an Uncle/Aunt Day?

Why does the pot in panel 1 change color in panel 2? Can the nudge explain it?

I like this Sunday strip. It is like almost any family setting and conversation.

Frank & Nancy can nudge all they want. I doubt G&K are terribly eager to draw a pregnant Toni.

I hope this will NOT be the beginning of a continuous nudging to Brad and Toni to have a baby. They have to be the ones to decide when the time is right, not others.

I hope she is drawn pregnant and this is a hint that it is coming soon and I hope they adopt Shannon eventually. Of course that means they definitely would need to get a bigger house, but Uncle TJ will try to help. One of the better Sunday foible panels.

Brad and Toni are (I hope) having too much fun to mess up “married love” with babies.

My mother said something like that at one dinner. The Mrs got up, took my hand, and said in a voice loud enough for my mother to hear,“Let’s continue working on that” as she led me to the bedroom. Never heard a peep from my mother about that ever again. I love my wife. 27 years next Feb. 14th.

And we have twins. 4 3/4 years old in university. They’ll be 5 (or is it 20?) on February 29th, 2020.

I never understood why people do this. How the hell do they know if thye have problems getting pregnant?

Luann and Brad both look like they’re talking with food in their mouths.

We have pregnancies over on 9CWL and FBOFW, must be something in the ink. (As opposed to “something in the water”)

tornadoprevention We are anxious to have our own grandbaby to snuggle with when we get ready to. To have their fat jaws to kiss, their chubby little fingers holding our fingers. Just simple things like that we have missed since our own children have grown up. Also to be able to play with them before arthritis sets in. Sorry to go on, but that’s the way I feel.

An excellent example of how most people get more and more selfish when they get older. They make more and more demands/requests of people…especially when they don’t have any right to do so. I’d hoped the Frank and Nancy would be written with as better people than this…guess not.

I didn’t know. But when you have no children and no grandchildren, it lacks significance.

Bwad is a bit Dumb, but he was Raised using lots of Nudges.

When I was a child, I would buy a card and maybe a little gift for my grandmother and a great-aunt so I’ve never understood the need for a Grandparents Day.

I prefer Nancy. She is soft and sexy and safe. Toni, on the other hand, is a biological time bomb. As Joan Rivers said, she got pregnant because her husband tossed and turned in his sleep.

Does Wyatt saying, “I yuv PawPaw,” count?

They can’t afford their apartment without TJ. How the heck are they expected to afford to raise child?

You looking at how the panels are drawn a second time, and I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this, or will respond to my second comment, but in the first two panels Nancy seems to be looking toward Toni, who says nothing, but appears to be gazing back, being all quiet and who KNOWS?… Nancy is not in the final panel, but Toni seems to be mildly amused and is still looking toward Nancy. Hmmmm.

Bah. Grandparenting is vastly overrated, I suspect. Sure, the grandparents get to have the fun of playing with the little grandkids, but they are not free of work and responsibility (e.g., when babysitting).

Anyway, what I am getting around to is, take your time, Brad and Toni. You are not obliged to have children immediately, or indeed at all. Your choice….

Okay, I’m ready to knock off the knock up musings.

Frank looks angry. He must really have wanted to help pay for grandbaby expenses.

A not so subtle hint to “get busy”

“You want grandkids? Fine. You help pay for the pregnancy, the hospital stay, the new furniture and clothes for up to the 5th year, and then help pay for schooling. What? You can’t afford that? Neither can we. End of story.”

Was it pink or blue? And isn’t it about time Luann gave up her…..you know, that….thang?Don’t you #Luann-ers get all bent out of shape: that was a nudge, only a nudge.
