Another very thoughtful strip from Mr Miller. There’s a lot of gaslighting & outright lies going on in US politics & has been since 2016. The world is watching the November 3 vote with baited breath
Excellently illustrated, Mr. Miller! I’m curious – is this like an iceberg, where the visible portion is only a tiny fraction of the true expanse? It would be interesting to be able to see below ground level, like with the viewing windows of polar bears and aquatic animals at the zoo.

The Journolist is really busy with that gaslighting part. Nothing to see here, move along to the next story.

It’s 0430 in central VA and there are so many possible real time nightmares in this one, I think I’ll go back to bed and try not to dream.

It’s no worse than a cute puppy. Sure it might chew on your shoes and piddle on you, but eat you?

Where’s Night-Gaunt 49? He could add some historical/mythological background to this critter.

San Diego has a lovely gaslight district; all the beasts are over at the zoo.

Gaslighting is a thing. The people you trust really can drive you crazy.

Yes, well, you need to watch out when “gaslight” is a verb instead of a noun (noun?)

You can call him Al, but he is more commonly known as McScrewge … or “The Don” to his closest contributors ….
