I’m surprised more defendants don’t refuse to waive their right to a speedy trial. I think it’s a good strategy for many. The prosecution is rarely ready to go at the time of charging, and the shorter the prep time, the less the lawyer will cost.

If you give the right coin to Trump, his DOJ will not even prosecute.

The big question. Does he have money, lots of money?

First, take a year to file charges. Second, slow walk those charges for years.

Are we sure this isn’t the ‘Supreme’ court?

The bast way to stay out of prison — for those who intend to commit crimes — is to be born white, rich, and connected.

“Guilty” or “Not Guilty” beyond a reas … beyond reason.

Not the speedy trial process that’s the problem here – it’s the shyster lawyer.

I’d want to see that coin before agreeing to anything.
