Maybe she has the same problem I have and can’t sleep at night. Which is why I’m reading the comics at 2 am.

Existing is exhausting.

I’m getting on a bit and I fall asleep very frequently…I think I need a Marcie…

I did mention earlier this week that I thought I remembered seeing Peppermint Patty in glasses in some old strips. I may have been mistaken. We see here that Peppermint Patty was told that she did not need glasses. I also think I remember now that it was Linus who wore glasses for a short time. His sister Lucy had to stop punching him during the time that he was wearing glasses and he took advantage of this to deliberately annoy her.

Narcolepsy, extreme boredom of school or horrible caffeine withdrawal.

She may as well truant next week as daylight saving time starts like it or not!

School= Boredom? OMG!

She is definitely a narcoleptic.

I’m guessing Patty’s problem is boredom, going to school in the daytime even when her vision is perfect. Man, that ophthalmologist knows his business.

This strip will probably be the only one that makes me laugh out loud today and it’s 47 years old.

School is boring. What’s hard to understand?

She’s simply bored, and highly intelligent, that’s all!

Peppermint Patty is probably a great candidate for vocational school. Hands-on work will keep her interest and attention.

Is this the arc where we learn that Patti’s dad is a traveling salesman and she basically lives by herself? She loses sleep because she’s alone.

Like Peppermint Patty, I’m ready for a nap.

So he’s an opthalmologist, a nutritionist, a psychiatrist, a somnologist, and a primary care physician all in one? Or does the practice have one of each?

But I’ll bet she never sleeps through lunch
