It should have been a “to-do” list; the characters are always making a big to-do about something.

You’re trying too hard, Mr. Pastis.

More like half-baked beans.

I DO have the “Bomb in Jerusalem” strip on mine.

I keep “Sticky Note O’ Goodness” on the bulletin board. The fridge is covered in magnets from various businesses and calendars from years long gone by.

OK Stephan. How about I just write musical fruit.

This is as close as we’ve been to Zeeba Neighba in a while.

It could be an “Eata Eata List.”

I have a very old Pearls on my fridge: “That bug zapper’s a godsend”.

Well you could always make it funny by writing “(baked) beans, beans, the musical fruit…”

I have the Moneysaurus strip hanging on my cube wall, does that count?

I do have one strip which has not only been on this fridge since I moved here, but was on at least one before then. It’s been photocopied and even scanned, because it’s such a favorite. But it’s not a Pearls strip.

I do have all the Pearls treasuries up to the most recent one, though, which I decided to skip. I’d say that buying comics in book form after you’ve already seen them for free on the Internet is more of an endorsement than posting them.

I’m sorry, I thought this was funny and clever.

I heard the other day that you can’t hang stuff on new fridges ‘cuz they’re non-magnetic. What’s the world coming to??

Are refried beans the same as baked beans? Asking for a friend…

Right now I have two up: one’s Scary Gary (chicken rifle), the other Nick and Zuzu (cigar-smoking cat). Sorry, Pastis.

Can I just say how I love that the pencil ‘behind the ear’ on humans is under the ear on Rat…but, I doubt most think about such a trivial thing – or I’m just weird!

I actually printed one strip a few years back for a friend of mine and it is till on her fridge!

I’m sure your strips are on fridges all around the world.

Actually I have a very old PBS strip on my fridge. It’s one of the pun strips about Annie-Mae, the Sea Anemone Enemy.

I used to put various strips or panels on the sides of metal filing cabinets or bookcases in my office back in the day. I don’t recall whether any was from PBS, however. Cartoon-Boy is clearly “playing it safe,” a kind of Middle-Aged Cartoonist dodge, though. Sad….
