I thought the motto was to jump in feet first.
Yes pig, now if only you could learn to differentiate between metaphor and literal you’d be all set!
If she had dipped him by his big toe, The Iliad might have read differently.

Wear Kevlar insoles.
Achilles should have consulted Nike about proper footwear!
paradox: what would happen if a witch was dipped into water that makes people invulnerable
“Measure twice, cut once.”
Pig’s not wrong.
If Achilles was a woman, Achilles would know how to use killer heels to her advantage

Achilles’ mom should have double dipped.
No. 1: pig is right. No. 2: Why didn’t Achilles’ mother double dip, with the other foot? This has always bugged me. What was she thinking?!?
I believe she grabbed by both heels with both of her hands
You know it’s scary when Pig actually seems to make sense to you. If Achilles had only protected his heel!
The story tells us: “Read other people’s comments in a thread, and, maybe you won’t tell the same answer again and again”
