In the past nearly every day people had to get up and hunt or gather food. Now most of the time a walk to the refrigerator will work. Maybe a once a week trip to the grocery store. I have found that hunting and gathering in the grocery store usually doesn’t take a lot of effort and time.
But now I have to waste time going to the gym for exercise. Hunter-gatherer people didn’t need to do that.
I’ve always questioned the logic of hiring a service to maintain your lawn while you drive off to the gym or golf course for the exercise. Just sayin’.
Hey, Pig, why not just start stretching before doing any activity? At least it’ll help you put in effort without hurting yourself. Then again, knowing him, he might take the term “stretching” rather literally.
