Some people would say that that tool (technically) is not a spatula but is a turner. Others would say that a turner is a type of spatula.

Roscoe is in serious contention for the best character in this strip!

I always respond, “Killing spiders.” And my wife replies, “Well, scrub it good before you put it back in the drawer.”

He’s using it as a flypaper swatter to swat any flies that land on his paper. The trick is to reconstruct the missing memory from clues in your environment. I’m not suffering from memory loss, I’m just turning into Perry Mason. :)

No joke, I lost my very best expensive non-stick frying pan that way. Full inferno by the time I realized it, threw it into the back yard.

Even Roscoe looks confused.

Brian, don’t retire. I need my daily dose of “Pickles”! Also, where did you hide the hidden camera in my house? Earl and Opal resemble my wife and I ( or is it the other way around?).

Please don’t retire!! Earl and Opal are my husband and me. (We’re in our 70s.) We LOVE your comic strip. It is our absolute fave!!
