Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Well, he messed up the microwave oven yesterday, otherwise he would logically have put it there with some Tide, maybe (what would have happened?) Earl seems to be working his incompetence through a series of household appliances.
Now that I am retired, I only wear “wash and wear” clothes. Mostly sportswear. I do have a few hand wash items (dressy clothes and figure skating costumes). Big deal. A little Woolite and air drying…. no biggie. Wool? Fleece is the new wool. And not scratchy, either!

maybe it’ll shrink enough to fit Nelson

In Earl’s defense. Something that needs to be dry cleaned shouldn’t be in the laundry hamper.
Izzy Moreno about 2 years ago
Dry clean is a lie! They WET the clothes!
It’s a scam! Big tech and big pharma just want your money and organs and are in cahoots with big government!

If that sweater is Opal’s, time to say bye-bye thereto once Earl unintentionally destroys it.

That’ll get Earl of laundry detail permanently.

kind of blows the stereotype that Men don’t read instructions. . .But Earl lives up to not paying attention to them.
cubswin2016 about 2 years ago
Earl is going to pay for this later.

That’s right, you show them Earl!

And, when Opal sees this, Earl will be the next one to “learn the harsh reality of living in this house”!
Macushlalondra about 2 years ago
Go ahead and wash it, Earl. Then dry it on high heat. Maybe after that Nelson can wear it.

What that meant is that the sweater could either be dry or it could be clean.

Doing a job poorly is often enough to get out of ever doing it again.

The only thing I ever sorted out was my work jeans, because they got an added splash of Simple Green to get the oil out.

Retired people should split the housework otherwise one person never gets to retire. 50/50!
david_42 about 2 years ago
I have some “dry clean only” clothes and it’s in the washer or in the trash.
ncrist about 2 years ago
he just wants to buy something new.
brick10 about 2 years ago
I hope it is Earl’s sweater

Does Opal remember the LAST laundry disaster.??
MRC112 about 2 years ago
Looks like a case of “I’ve been asked to do something I don’t want to do, so I’ll do it so badly I’ll never get asked again”
anamchara42 about 2 years ago
Snort! Good thing I didn’t have a mouthful of coffee when I read this!
goboboyd about 2 years ago
Earl, the adorable goofball ploy only goes so far. Yer messin’ with wool, buddy.

Careful with Opal’s sweater, Earl!
Zebrastripes about 2 years ago
If that’s Opals, she will have a hissy fit!

… I await the next episode in this tragedy…

“Dry Clean Only” just means you put it directly in the dryer…
David Huie Green LikeNobody'sEverSeen about 2 years ago
Earl’s longevity is amazing.
jbcuster about 2 years ago
I hope it’s not Opals.

Me thinks Earl’s going learn the harsh reality of Opal very soon.
zeexenon about 2 years ago
let’s just hope its tiny thread pieces get evenly distributed over both sides of the other clothes. And that there’s gum in a pocket or two.
StevePappas about 2 years ago
I laughed at this one.
marilynrknits about 2 years ago
So much stuff that says dry clean is washable in cold water on the wash and wear cycle.
Widdershins about 2 years ago
Oh oh, this isn’t going to end well.
