I have stabbed myself, cut myself badly enough to need stitches, and once hot glued something to my finger instead of where it belonged. Hubby says I’m the only person he knows who can be armed and dangerous – with a glue gun.
“I resemble that remark” [ Curly Joe, The Three Stooges]. I only require more band-aids because I end up doing most of the “projects” around the house and I’m not on blood thinners.
My problem is that my skin seems to reject all brands of bandaids. In addition I have rather slender fingers. If I cut myself and the finger is bandaged with a band aid there will only be a small amount of the glued area touching my finger as it overlaps so much. I have even tried putting the band aids on in the shape of the cause ribbons – on an angle so the ends cross over like the bottom of that type of logo and they still fall off.
The other night I finally figured out (after 34 years in the house) why the pot lid holder falls off the inside of a cabinet drawer – there is actually a place on the bottom of it for another screw (though whenever we looked for one in the past there was none). So, late night as we were going up to bed he stopped to fix it. We both sitting on the floor and he pushed the cabinet door over my leg, pulling off some skin on my leg even though I wearing jeans that covered my legs. I bandaged where the skin was off (basically a cut now) and we went to bed. By the time I woke up the next day – the band aid was off.

Then pluggers should Band together more often and Aid each other with their projects.

I used to get skin cracks in my fingers during cold winters, then bandage them, but global warming has mostly put an end to that.

No cartoons on the Band-Aids? That’s no fun. Are there “Plugger” cartoon ones?

I get cuts on my finger tips then find I’m out of finger tip Band-Aids and regular ones take an extra 6" of medical tape to keep them on.

To twist a phrase: Today I used six Band-aids. Today I learned six things. Hopefully.
