For my wife, the hoarder, that would be a major miracle. She only messes things up.

Clean-up and arrange means my tools are in the shed in the upper crawl space in unmarked buckets. Less clutter……

On the plus side, Mr. Plugger now has a legitimate excuse to buy all new tools.

I could not agree more! Recently I came downstairs to find the wife had rearranged the kitchen. Considering that I do 90% of the cooking, this has been disasterous! 6-months later and I am still hunting for stuff that I used to use all-the-time but now can’t find!

I heard the same thing from my XH only it was the kitchen. I told him if he wanted to do the cooking, he could clean out the cupboards, until then, leave them alone and I’d leave his shop alone! Very invasive.

My wife’s did that organizing of my tool box. It looks nice but can’t find my tools. I’m going to organize her stuff one of these days.

Only thing worse is the wife borrowing your tools and not putting them back where she got them from.

The scariest words a Plugger will ever hear are “Some assembly required, uttered on Xmas Eve Night after the kids are in bed. But this is certainly true, too.

This is why “I” have to put away the groceries, I do the cooking and if my partner puts things away I’ll find loose carrots in the jarred goods cupboard or pasta hiding behind a cheese grater.

Good… now you can help me with all the projects. When I need a tool, I will just ask you for it – since you know where they all are now…

I keep the garage clean, and all my tools are locked up in a big, beautiful Snap On toolbox.

I’ve done that. found that my hubby was a “can’t find my screwdriver so I’ll just buy another” kind of guy.

I found that a woman doesn’t understand/ appreciate a guy’s things so cleaning means tossing stuff out.

My dad & bro never put their tools away & could never find them. My mom always knew where hers were – she kept them in a locked toolbox so they wouldn’t “evaporate”!

That’s how I felt when a young woman decided to ‘clean’ the soup kitchen where I volunteered. It took me over an hour to just find the coffee supplies! ¬_¬ ◑﹏◐

I used to have an eidetic memory for where I left my tools and personal items. Then, I got married and nothing was ever again where I left it.
