Priorities!

Some months ago, I mentioned Shaggy Rogers from Scooby Doo on this site. Someone replied, “Man, you know way too much about cartoons! I didn’t even know Shaggy had a surname.” I later listed the surnames of all the meddling kids – Shaggy Rogers, Fred Jones, Velma Dinkley and Daphne Blake. This morning, I watched a feature length episode from 2005 called Aloha, Scooby Doo! which gives Fred Jones a middle name. Fred boasts, “Danger is my middle name!” Velma quips, “I thought that was Herman!”

You might want to rethink this, Rover!

Priorities!

Can you imagine someone looking out their window and seeing this sequence of events? They’d be laughing their heads off. Maybe that’s why older people stare out the window so much! Ha.

OMG, that is exactly what happens when I pick up Newton from daycare! Same route—I stand there with my arms open wide and Newton detours to the reception desk for treats.

Don’t worry, Red. As soon as that squirrel escapes, Rover will turn all that energy back to you. And you will both be happy indeed.
