Aww….I loved Max.

Today is my fifty-eighth birthday. Fifty years ago today, I turned eight and that was a Sunday as well. I remember watching a Tom and Jerry cartoon in the afternoon which was a special birthday treat for me as they were my favourite cartoon characters. The cartoon was Part Time Pal in which Tom shows that he is friendly towards Jerry when drunk.

Red is stunned by what just happened, was it the Grinch stealing Christmas, or was it Max and Rover connecting as friends, we might never know.

Always adored Max. Glad he and Rover are friends. Move along Grinch. Nothing to see here. Once he is reformed, maybe he will bring Max back for a playdate.

Max would have liked to stay with Red and Rover, but he is loyal to his master no matter how creepy he is .

Our family had a dachshund named Max when I was growing up, so I always really empathized with poor Max in “The Grinch”. The poor little guy put up with a lot of abuse, but at least he was happy by the end of the show.
