I’ll have to give todays RBION a failing grade. (1) Night owls MAY BE ______. Doesn’t that imply that they may not be? (2) Pygmy owls sure. And how about crows, red-tailed hawks, kestrels, kingfishers, etc. They all perch on treetops of various heights. (3) Of course Ural owls have feathered feet. So would chickens if they lived in Russia in the wintertime. Okay, #3 is kind of a joke.
Nice setup: first item about owls. Second item cites night owls, and boy that threw me for a moment! Third item back to owls.
So, I looked up risers, and found they are stands for bands and choruses. I am now a believer: night owls are truly more intelligent than risers, early or late!
The cool thing about pygmy owls is they have eye spots on the back of their heads so you don’t know which way they’re looking, or to put off predators, or I don’t know why, but it’s cool

Naaa … I’m an early riser. I live on the East Coast, and my Bio-clock is somewhere between the time zones of California and Hawaii.

You need to get up early enough to get Pete’s joke before it gets deleted.

An avid bird watcher heard an owl hoot.
So he thought he’d give a hoot back. To his surprise and delight the bird hooted again. The next night the same scenario occurred.
All Summer, the man and his feathered friend hooted back and forth. He even kept a log of the “conversations.”
Just as he thought he was on the verge of a breakthrough in inter species communication, his wife had a chat with her next door neighbor.
“My husband spends his nights calling to owls,” the wife commented.
“That’s odd,” the neighbor replied. “So does my husband.”

If you liked this fine, but if not, well, I really don’t give a hoot!

Absolutely nothing strains the imagination about a bird perching in the tops of trees to scan for prey. This is a “Believe It, or Duh!”

Snowy owls also have feathered feet. What good is the word “may” in a RBION?

That leaves me out, I’m early to bed (7 pm) and early to rise (3 am). But I love that time and don’t worry what others think.

I’m gonna go out on a limb (!) and suggest that study was done by night owls.

Makes sense. I’m not an early-bird. I work best in the evening and at night.

The dentist looks and says, “You have a bad tooth! We are going to have to pull it”
“Ah Jesus!” The lady says, “I would rather be pregnant than have a tooth pulled!”
The dentist replies, “Make up your mind, I’ll have to adjust the chair.”
