People are apparently buying up firearms and ammo. WTF??

No surprise there.

I have heard that the smell of gunpowder and hot gun lube in the morning prevents coronavirus.

Also, it take an awful lot of ammo to blast all those microbes.

The trumpbotts are chicken littles, The sky is always falling therefore they must protect their compounds against invaders and a civil war outbreak! More guns, ammo, and canned soup!

I think everyone’s missing the joke (thinking people are stocking up for the apocalypse.) It’s Army Navy SURPLUS! If the Army and Navy are using it all, there’s no surplus to sell.

Used to love going to the Army Navy surplus. We played army with the real stuff, and all the stuff you ruined is now collectable.

I miss buying survival gear I never used.

I used to buy gadgets at these stores when I was young. The prices used to be significantly lower than getting similar things other places.

Have there been any reports of looting in other countries that have gone to lock down? I have not head any.

I hear a coathanger can be a very serious weapon in skilled hands. How much for them?

Readers seem to be missing the point. It’s the Army and Navy that are using everything at the moment.

Meal Team Six is panic buying everything.

During Operation Iraqi Freedom [yeah, I’ll bet they’re laughin’ at that one now], I found MREs very difficult to come by.

I think the point of the cartoon is that there is no surplus due to the original military still using the stuff.
