/// Bakfark holds up his hands and appears

to be fending off figures he fears.

    Three bald topless men float

    in mid-air and they gloat.

Must be demons; they have pointed ears!

One of the sonar contacts had engine, screw blade, and loud music. We went to pariscope depth and saw a cruise ship. I recommended that we form a boarding party and surface.

Iā€™m not sure what ā€œYacht Rockā€ is supposed to be, but it seems like it would be a good title for a song written and played by Pablo Cruise.

Just about the time that Agnes was ready to get up and start dancing at the cross-dressers ball, the quaaludes kicked in. I know, I was there.

    Had his mother been smart/

    Heā€™d have been named ā€œBatfartā€/

In a time of more frequent visitations

    Evil spirits had little hesitations

To come to musicians extremely bored

Who dared to play the Tritone ā€˜D3vilā€™s Chordā€™

Thus lutist Bakfark once risked d@mnation

    .

We donā€™t know what were his risky capers

For authorities burned much of his music papers

He had for some reason lost his Queen Bona factor

Through which in court he had been a favored actor

After that his lute career dilutes and slowly tapers

    .

Other composers dared per unofficial record

To dance with the D3vil and play his special chord

Paganini was one such as violin virtuoso

And Liszt in ā€˜Mephisto Waltzā€™ did it also

But some recent Rock stars have the past ignored

    .

If Bakfark had a band today and been eclectic

Would he have played a mean wild lute electric?

Through the years it seems many musicians

Have counted the D3vil and made bad decisions

And so succumbed to his tricks pyroelectric

    Bakfark, lutenist of Queen Bona:Ā

    Paste (including the quote marks)Ā

    "Category:Ignacy Gierdziejewski" WikimediaĀ

(syntax supported by the Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Brave search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Wikimedia Category: found, and once there find the text string 568, and click its link for info and links that point to more info (perhaps best viewed by the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers, which can automatically translate most webpages if necessary) about this roughly jumbo envelope size painting.Ā

Again, a larger strip image is shown by (Ctrl- or right-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcherā€™s MASTERPIECE #3468 (February 27, 2025) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment, and using the dropdown menu (even larger if you crop whatā€™s after .png from the URL). Iā€™ve added a comment there pointing to the info about this artist I used to point to here. So far, first work by him used here.
