The Roget Family continues into the latest generation with the boys Peter and Mark. Before they understood fully the family literary tradition, they thought a Thesaurus was a kind of dinosaur.
Reminds me of an old joke. A lady rings the doorbell at a friend’s house and is greeted by her young child. She asks “Is your mommy home?”. The kid says “She gone to town”. Lady says “Oh my, where’s your grammar?”. Kid answers “Oh, she be upstairs”.

Synonym rolls – they taste the same but are baked differently.

Much better than those awful gender rolls Grampa makes.

“Grammar” was such a good baker. But she made us tense when she’d subject us to objecting indirectly.
