Is the idea that so many people are afraid of LGBTQUIA that they will trade their liberties away in order to keep the genderqueers down?

I don’t understand what this is saying. Republican voters think their party is crazy, but are forced to go along with them because the alternative is wokeness?

Really tired of the hate dripping religiousity of ‘Christians’ and other Abrahamic fantasy “faiths”. Keenly experienced when discussing anything LGBTQ. Expressions of human sexuality that should garner as much attention as what hair style/color you wear. Yet totally unqualified in-laws insist they home school their kids so they don’t have any contact with “THOSE people, in Satan’s schools”. Because, y’know there’s a dogwhistle that maybe pedophiles are lurking in restrooms/locker rooms secretly as Transgender. Don’t worry about the local Catholic priest suddenly transferred for the umpteenth time for “personal reasons”. Now these in-laws want to make sure books at the public library are “godly” and safe for kids.

Why don’t we just get in the running car?
