You would be so bored with those two well-behaved girls, Mom, that you’d wish for two “different” boys. Well, at least one, like Wallace.

I have 3 sisters. Don’t talk to me about well behaved girls.

What would the daughters’ names be, Mrs. McClellan? Wanda and Stella?

But…you have one fairly well behaved boy and one, uh, whatever that other one is.

I have two daughters. When they were Wallace and Sterling’s ages, one was God’s gift and one was Satan’s Spawn. Be very careful what you wish for Mrs. M…very careful indeed…

I have boys and girls. Boys are easier. Waaay easier.

True story. I raised 3 boys. Husband’s brother had 3 girls. At their house visiting once, and the sister-in-law and I were preparing a meal. My boys were outside playing and she kept telling me how she didn’t know how I did it, if she had to deal with boys it would drive her insane, etc. Meanwhile, past her shoulder I watched her 3 girls absolutely tear apart her living room, knocked over the recliner and jumped on it like a trampoline etc. I simply said, straight-faced, oh yes, raising girls must be so much easier. Lol.

RIGHT!!!!

IMO, when the house is not so brightly illumined that you can see it at night, but only the points of color against the blackness around the edges, that’s way more magical.
