I had to go back and read this twice. Thanks for reminding me. We are all grateful to our Fire Fighters and all the rest of the hero s who where there to help that fateful day.

I’ve seen several other memorial strips here today. However this is the only one that had the message sullied by comments from religious and political chauvinists.

When I use the calendar to go back to 2001 and 2002 – nearly ALL of my favorite comics say something like “never forget.” Yet, by 2015 – most of them HAVE forgotten. How sad!
