I wonder what they would have yelled then. we recognize the term ‘fire’ but it hardly applies to a bow. early artillery drill, where the gun was set off by applying a slow match- a smoldering fuse-to the primer discharged the weapon with “Give fire!” with muskets this was shortened to ‘fire’ but there’s nothing flamable about a bow

Seems almost enough fire to be warm.
