There was a 1950s movie called “Genghis Khan” starring John Wayne. It was an expensive flop which bankrupted its production company RKO whose successful movies had included “King Kong”, the Astaire-Rogers musicals and “Citizen Kane”.

I think in reality, ol’ Genghis favored just leaving the heads in piles.

The Mongols were straightforward.

If a city surrendered, they had to pay tribute but were relatively unharmed.

If a city resisted, it was slaughtered, razed, and salted.

He was able to fool all those people because he’s such a good Khan Man.

Getting more of a Vlad vibe than Genghis.

I think it’s more like, his “pole” numbers.
