If I did it right, I’m 14 years younger in hexadecimal. Convert that to dog years for my hexadecimal value would make me about 6.4 years old, 1/10 of the base 10 year. Man, I’m geeking out here.
my great regret, now that my computer career is over, is that I never learned hex, though I never had to use it, it was just one of those badges I did not earn.

Sure, the hex value is: 1A + 2B = 45, while the decimal value is: 26 + 43 = 69. Interesting how 69 came into play for a bar pickup line.

We never programmed anything in hex. By the time my employer let “ordinary” engineers use the computers, it was in Fortran.
