That book might even put them in the next tax bracket…trouble ahead, unless, I hope, she has the income allocated evenly by the publisher, otherwise, a big tax bill will follow…
I’ve seen this many times working in bookshops. An author will have several-to-many books out when one hits. Suddenly, their back catalog becomes very desirable.
