At Lows we had rats in the garden department. A customer saw one cross the aisle and complained to me and without missing a beat I told her they were Mexican smooth tail squirrels and they came in on the big pottery sale truck we just got. Do you need a large colorful pot for you porch or patio? FYI that’s Tabby, Toby, Tweety and some customer in the 4th panel. Tabby works in customer service. Toby is an outside contractor. Tweety was part of a smash and grab gang (flock). This is funny as poop in my world. I had a cat named Toby. My kids had a canary named Tweety. No names were changed to protect the guilty.
I used to work in a nursery (the kind with plants, not the kind with children), and birds sometimes flew into the greenhouse through the open windows on the roof. I don’t remember ever doing anything to get rid of them. They always eventually flew out the same way they came in.
I used to work in a warehouse club that had a problem with birds. One night, after closing, the manager went around the store with a pellet gun. Took care of the bird problem for a little while.

Where do people think produce grows? If it is vegetive, something has probably relieved themselves on it at least once.

In the ‘50s we had parakeets in my dad’s dime store. Every now and then one got out.
