She was thinking “nap” nap.
She thought Afternoon Delight.
Nice try, Arlo. But it looks like you need a new line, 8^ )
Smooth move Arlo. Guaranteed uninterrupted nap time.
This is so us! I hold a day with a nap is a good day while my bride can only think of what is not getting done.
Next time, ask if she want’s to cuddle/snuggle
Wore yourself out looking for that TV remote, huh Arlo?
I bet that the cat would be happy to nap with him.
Nappers unite!
Sad she’d rather scroll on her phone than snuggle with her husband. I never turn down nap time!
It’s waaay too hot to nap together
I used to love the “Afternoon Naps” ;)
It’s been so hot this summer I can see why some cultures have afternoon siestas. It’s too hot to do much of anything else.
The wife and I are at that age when a nap means only that.
Yesterday I laid down to rest my eyes and hubby insists I was snoring. Man needs to get his hearing checked.
Gimme my recliner, my book, and golf on TV, and I’m out like a light. The Mrs has to have a bed and her pillow, but always on top of the covers.
She gave a “pan” to his suggestion of “nap”…
Janis misunderstood…or not!
Too bad. Some very tender moments were shared taking a nap with the wife….
I don’t care how married you are – napping is done alone.
what has happened to their kids and grand daughter?
When I want a nap, I want to be alone.
Napping is done alone, or with your pets. When the husband is retired and home all day, you want a break from each other.
No need to get all snippy Janis. It’s just a simple offer from your life partner. Sheesh!
Once upon a time, my husband would nap with me in the afternoon. No hanky panky either. He always said he wasn’t tired but was snoring within moments.
Now we barely say two words to each other and I am so happy he has a part time job and takes care of his mother at her place.
I miss the man I married but am not to fond of the one I am married to.
Said no cat, ever.
