Be glad they want you there. Many adult kids would never want their parents living near them.

Have to wonder if Arlo isn’t really wanting to move.

It’s hard to get a good babysitter. And I don’t mean for Meg.

What signs of aging are the kids seeing that cause them to pro-act this way? And how come A & J age and Luddy does not? And if Pluto is a dog, what is Goofy?

I wish I had a nice daughter in law as nice as her, I got stuck with the daughter in law from hell, isolated my son from our family, it’s all about her and her family. And loves to spend money.

We recently moved and downsized to be closer to our kids and grandchildren. I’m still looking for things we no longer have, due to downsizing. Being close to the family is great.

When we retired, we were wild to get out of Texas (you go where the job is). We agreed that we wouldn’t look at our home states and that we wouldn’t move close to the kids, because they would probably move away. And the did. Good decision

Ludwig would love the 20 plus mile sparkling white sand box that stretches along that part of the Gulf Coast. And all of the little sandpipers scurrying back and forth.

I live on the same Island I was born on – same for husband. I am not planning on leaving. Even have my eyes on two cemeteries for the future. One is closer to family so maybe they will visit us and it is also where our reenactment unit is headquartered and the parades same participates in go past it (and it is also historic). The other is larger and nicer and in the same Borough of NYC as we were each born in – and more likely to be maintained, but not where anyone would visit us.
