Our family never had any problems assembling furniture, or toys. It saddens me that there are people IRL just like Darryl who can’t follow instructions, no matter how simplified.

I suspect it’s a Chinese company. I remember one time there was a RC plane, and on the plane, it said, “If blame damage, don’t be fly, otherwise it may create the human body or blame damage.”

It did have a crack in one of the blades, and I still flew it. Luckily, it didn’t create the human body.

Or IKEA.

On the box, ‘6 years and up’. For Darryl, it will take him 6 years and up to assemble the new hoop.

Nowadays, you can find a youtube video to assemble anything.

No, but there are losts of recently unemployed NASA staff around.

I look at the pictures and make it look like them. Most don’t have much in the way of writing anyway. Also, I built most of my furniture from scratch.

I was born in ’46. Anyone remember when many toys were made of stamped painted tin? Toy gas stations with garages etc. “Insert Tab A into Slot B and twist to fasten”.

Yep, instead of a forty pages in twenty languages with only two pages in English, picture instructions have taken over. They’re like trying to read/interpret Hieroglyphics.

Sorry. Everyone at NASA has been fired. Who needs it?

Pictures for instructions or not, if whatever it is you are putting together is made of wood, do not use power tools.

I know people who work for NASA, their directions are in only one language and remarkably free of fizzbin.

He needs NASA to help him fold the manual. He hasn’t even started building it yet!

No NASA engineer could operate a screw driver. But they could spend nine months writing a paper about it.
