If you are really lost in a maze. Just put one hand on the wall and keep on walking. You will be going the long way out. But you will get out. You will go through every dead end in the maze. But eventually you will find the EXIT.
This reminds me of a recurring dream I have: I am lost, but my surroundings are constantly changing. For example, if I am lost indoors and I leave a room and immediately re-enter it, it’s an entirely different room. If outdoors, the streets or terrain change when I am not looking at them.
It used to bother me. Now I’m “alert” to know that “It’s another one of THOSE dreams” and let it run to its conclusion without worrying about it.

I’ve figured out the best way to solve a maze puzzle is to start with the end and work backwards

All this square footage (fractional inchage?) and not so much as a simple stool to sit on. Minimalists, go figure.
