Now, if animals would actually do that in real life…

you know, lol, i just love that little bird, how it appears, walks across the sand, leaves its little foot prints, climbs the rock, stops and just looks at BC haha then… In FACT the timing of this whole strip today is exquisite.

My avatar is our German Shepard, Molly, when we were on the road. I had just folded up her kennel and she was giving me the “what did you do to my house?” look.

Cartoon panels without dialog are called “beat panels.” So my comment on today’s strip is, “And the beat goes on.”

I live in an apartment. We were trying to make friends with a cute feral cat that liked our dog. Made her a home on the back porch and almost had her coming into the house. The owners of the apartments decided to cut down some (healthy) trees that were causing problems with the pipes. The workmen scared Amber and she ran up a tree and onto the roof. The workers then cut down the tree leaving her no way to get off the roof. We called Animal Control and they could not go up on the roof as the owners would not give permission. The tenants were told they could be arrested for trespassing if they tried. Took us 2 months to get Amber to come down. (We put a board from the roof to the patio of an upstairs apartment and then set a live trap). She is a wonderful housecat now. Moral of story: Do not cut down trees.
